kevin cyr

check out this site of brooklyn artist kevin cyr. he does these amazing photo realism paintings of old service vans and vehicles covered in graffiti. very effective and awesome as well.

  1. Kevin's work is awesome but I have beef with his web page; specifically that when his work loads it's not displayed so the viewer can see the whole image without scrolling. Also, when I click on his paintings I go to a page that seems to be completely different with dead links :(
    Also, the slider bar on the right is not flush with the header so it just seems sloppy. Further, the drop-down menues on the top look stolen from an early Mac OS and don't gel with the other visual elements of the site. Speaking of visual elements I think it's important to consider the content that will be displayed on the site when designing the site. In kevin's case, he should of considerd that his illustrations were automotive and designed his site to either emphasize his subject or to be invisible so that his work would be the main visual element. Otherwise,I love Kevin's work though, Thanks for sharing it Brian.
