Class Reading: CSS Class vs. ID

We will discuss this further, Monday, January 26. Be prepared.

This is a really simple explanation of the difference between the CSS "ID" and "CLASS" selectors.

http://ulyssesonline.com/2007/10/12/css-class-vs-id/

ID selectors are unique. They occur only once in a page layout. A good use for an ID selector are headers, footers, menus, sidebars, etc.
CLASS selectors on the other hand, occur multiple times in a page such as divs for posts, articles, etc...

Why Did They Choose These Names??
ID = A person's Identification (ID) is unique to one person.
Class = There are many people in a class.
